ABOUT US

We are a vibrant Bible believing, Jesus loving group of young people. We are committed to know Jesus more, celebrate our union with Him and making Him known to the world around us. We are a growing church of over 160 members, despite the floating population of students, professionals and visitors.

Our Vision

Our vision is to Reach, Teach and Release people into the purpose of God. Our goal is to share the love of God to people in our community, help them know Christ, build them in fellowship and equip them to live purpose driven lives.

OUR BELIEFS

  • Bible (excluding Apocrypha) is the inspired Word of God. It is infallible and the all sufficient rule for faith and practice.

        2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12

  • There is only one God, the eternal, the Great ‘I AM’ and He exists in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

         Matthew 28:19; 1 John 5:7

  • Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God. We believe in the virgin birth, Jesus’ sinless life, His substitution atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension,  intercession and in His visible, bodily return in power and glory.

        Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1,14

  • Man was created in the image of God but fell by voluntary transgression.

         Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7, Romans 5:12-21

  • Man can attain salvation only through faith in the shed blood of Christ.

         Titus 2:11, 3:5-7, Romans 10:8-15, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

  • The experience of salvation is in the operation of the Holy Spirit.

         John 3:5-6, James 1:18, 1 Peter 1:23, 1 John 5:1

  • All who have truly repented and believe in Christ as Lord and Savior are commanded to be baptized by immersion in water.

         Matt. 28:19, Acts 10:47-48, Acts 2:38-39

  • Lord’s supper is symbolic of our sharing in His suffering and in the divine nature of Christ and a prophetic act of His second coming.

         Luke 22:14-20, 1 Corinthians 11:20-34

  • Baptism in the Holy Spirit is an entitlement of the believer. It comes with the power for service and its biblical evidence of speaking in other tongues as per the prompting of the Spirit.

         Acts 1:4-5, 8, 2:4, 10:44-46, 11:14-16, 19:6

  • Church operates in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and Christ.

         1 Corinthians 12:4-11, 28, Ephesians 4:7-16

  • Deliverance from sickness by divine healing is provided for, in the Atonement.

         Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-17, James 5:13-16

  • Sanctification is required of the church through holiness of life and obedience to God.

        1 Peter 1:14-16, Hebrews 12:14, 1 Thessalonians 5:23,1 John 2:6

  • Bodily resurrection of all men who truly believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and the everlasting punishment of all whose names are not written in the Book of Life is imminent.

        Daniel 12:2-3, John 5:28-29, 1 Corinthians 15:22-24, Matthew 25:46, 2 Thessalonians  1:9, Revelation 20:10-15
